At last, our baby girl is here! Emma was born on January 13, 2019. Though there are a few things we’d like to finish in Emma’s Room I thought now was as good of a time as any to give you a tour into her room!
My favorite part of the room is definitely the “Lovely Vintage Floral” wallpaper. It was the most important purchase we made because it ties the entire room together.
The next big statement piece was the “Emma” cutout. We purchased the sign from Panhandle Mercantile and painted it ourselves to match the nursery colors.
We purchased this glider from Amazon, and it is very comfortable. I didn’t invest in a glider with my first child and I really regretted it. It’s so nice so have somewhere comfy to sit and feed the baby.
Instead of getting a changing table I decided to just get a full size dresser and place this changing pad on top. I didn’t use the changing table past six months and it didn’t seem like a worthwhile investment.
Although she has a dresser, I prefer to keep clothes hung up in the closet. This closet system is from The Home Depot. We purchased the shelves seperately and installed them above the closet bars.
Everything in her closet is organized by type, and then by size! This makes dressing her a breeze and also ensures that she uses all of her clothes.
