I don’t think I have ever fallen this hard for a planner. I came across the Erin Condren planner a few months ago through a YouTube video and spent hours looking at reviews and deciding which one I wanted. Am I the only one who obsesses over things like this? My dreams were shattered when I heard that the new designs were coming out in June. Why? Well I know myself, and I was going to buy the planner and as soon as the new ones came out I was going to want those too…I just couldn’t justify spending the $75 on a planner when I knew the new and improved version was coming out so soon!
So what changed? Erin Condren is holding a 40% off sale on all of the Life Planners! If you use a $10 off coupon you get by signing off here then you get a beautiful new planner for $20-35 dollars depending on which planner you get. I immediately ordered my planner and waited eagerly for it to arrive. I was NOT disappointed.

The planner comes up wrapped up with a bunch of cute little stickers, samples and extras. I love their attention to detail!I got a bunch of gift sticker samples that I cannot wait to use. They are just too cute!

And now the main event *drumroll* presenting the Gold Edition Erin Condren Planner!

The pictures truly do not do the planner justice. The gold foil is absolutely beautiful. The inside cover has a section for your information titled “This is my life.”

The inside cover is also laminated to prevent damage from spills and regular wear and tear. I really like this since most of my covers always tend to get worn away and I have gotten so many stains in my planner in the past.

The next page that follows the planner are the “Special Dates” section that include three pages for planning all of your birthdays, anniversaries and annual events.

The Gold Edition planner includes a gold chevron bookmark, where the original Life Planner only includes a basic bookmark. Each month is color coded, for example April is blue and purple. This theme carries onto the weekly pages as well.

Here is another example of the color coding in May. The color scheme for this month is a combination of pink and blue.
The weekly spreads are divided into daily “Morning, Day and Night” this is perfect for me and I have found that dividing my day up like this really fits in with my lifestyle. Theres is also a “Goals & Notes” section in each week which I find very helpful. Each weekly spread also has tons of space for daily to do lists, perfect for other sports, exercise and other activities. When one month ends the color changes into the new month as you can see in this overview.

There is also an entire notes section in the back with tons of lined pages for you to use. After the the lined pages there is also a section of blank pages for you to use for planning.
Finally, we get to the important numbers and Contacts Section.
The “My Important Numbers” section is quite helpful for quick reference. It includes sections for writing down your favorite salons, restaurants, as well as important information like your doctor or insurance. The contacts section is only one page. I found this a little disappointing, I use my contacts page A LOT. I know most people have switched to digital contacts but I like to keep addresses for swaps and pen pals.
After the “Contacts” section we have my favorite part – the stickers! The first pages of stickers includes 60 birthday stickers which I find a little excessive. I don’t think I even know 60 birthdays…but hey I’m kind of a loner so someone else may think this is not enough. Page two of the stickers has 6 Game, 6 Day Off, 7 Hair Apt, 2 Dentist Appt. 3 Sale, 6 Doc Appt. 6 Concert, 6 Mani / Pedi, 6 Party, and 12 Vacation stickers. I really liked the distribution in this page. Then there is a whole section of blues, greens, and purple stickers. Followed by this section. If these stickers aren’t enough for you, you can also purchase more stickers on the Erin Condren website.
The last part of the notebook is the “Keep it Together” folder……which is two sided with two different color schemes. The pouch behind the folder includes additional labels that usually match your planner from what I’ve seen on other unboxings. I probably wouldn’t keep pens here since it would make the planner bulky, but its perfect for stickers and sticky notes.
The back cover is also laminated and includes the 2015 and 2016 for those of you who really plan ahead this may prove especially useful.

The pen holder is an additional $2.50 which I honestly wish I hadn’t even spent my money on.

The pen holder is plastic and has an adhesive on the bottom that sticks right to the back cover or wherever you’d like to put your pen in. My only problem? The elastic band is tiny and the pens I use are just too fat to fit inside. I almost ripped the elastic trying to get my pen in. I wish I would have saved my money and bought more stickers instead.
