Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing a ton of kitchen organization ideas as part of my kitchen organization series! This week’s big project was the spice jars in the pantry. It was a total disaster and I had a bunch of duplicate spices lying around. Note: These pictures were taken on my desk, not the pantry!
I grabbed all of the spices I could find and took them up to my office to be re-organized! I already had this spice rack from Amazon and tons of sticker paper left over from other DIY projects. I designed, and printed these labels on glossy sticker paper. You can download the labels by clicking here!
I printed three sets of labels. Two sets of the small labels, and one set of the large. I used the small set for the front of the containers, and the larger for the top. I love the top labels because it makes it so easy to see what’s in the back.
I used one set of small labels to label the “extras.” My plan is to keep all of my extra spices in this box to refill my jars as needed. That way when I run out I can take the container and buy more! My local market allows you to bring your own container to buy spices which is not only cheaper, but better for the environment!
Overall, this DIY was really simple and inexpensive. I purchased the jars from Target for $13 for 20 jars! Check out my full YouTube video.
